Following the great success of the 6th Congress of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society in Budapest in October 2024, we have got a great opportunity to further strengthen our ties within our region, by organizing the „4TH SeENS INTERNATIONAL NEUROSURGICAL NEUROVASCULAR FELLOW COURSE” as part of the „WALKING THE SILK ROAD” training program for young physicians in Mátraháza, Hungary.
The field of neurovascular diseases is unquestionably one of the fastest developing fields in medicine, and it requires more multidisciplinary cooperation, than most other areas of Neurosurgery. We have designed our course to provide a problem-based overview of the diagnostic work-up, clinical decision making, and both surgical and interventional technics of cerebrovascular disease therapy. Besides the high-level theoretical lectures provided by our internationally recognized faculty, we have included hands-on trainings on flow models, to equally provide the course participants with practical experience in the use of the newest endovascular technologies.
The high quality of the congress venue, the renowned faculty, and the generally outstanding weather conditions in Hungary in May all provide excellent chance for us to have a very successful meeting, and we truly hope that our course will help us reach the most important goal of the Society, building a stroke network of outstanding physicians in Southeast Europe.
In the name of the organizers, we are really looking forward to meeting you in person in May 2025.
